Director of Photography living in Glasgow/Scotland with a base in

My career so far…
In 1980 I completed The Scottish Film Council training scheme which gave me my first opportunity to get into the camera department and for the next eleven years worked my way successfully up through the ranks, from camera trainee, to loader, to focus puller to camera operator.
Around 1991/92, I started lighting and working in documentaries, music videos, TV Drama (including “Taggart” of course) and second unit on features.

Now as a Director of Photography I am mainly shooting commercials but mixing in some feature work/drama with two films on the horizon.
I have shot in over fifty countries on almost every format (mainly 35mm and Redcam at the moment) and really enjoy learning and making films work and look great.
Available for films/TV dramas(with great scripts) and commercials(with great money).
